Seaside is an unincorporated master-planned community on the Florida panhandle in Walton County, roughly midway between Fort Walton Beach and Panama City. It was founded by builder/developer, Robert Davis, in 1979 after he inherited the land from his grandfather. The town plan was designed by architects and new urbanists' Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk and is often cited as an example of successful implementation of New Urbanism. Time magazine called it "the most astounding design achievement of its era and, one might hope, the most influential"

Today Seaside is noted for its beautiful white beaches and turquoise waters and home to more than 500 cottages! Artist's tend to gravitate to the quaint town and enjoy displaying their work around the town's Ruskin Place. A general store, wine bar, and various shops and restaurants complete Seaside's town square and allow you all the luxuries you need....and all within walking distance!

Swimming Pools
There are three pools throughout Seaside. The largest pool is located at the corner of Odessa and Forest Streets. The adult pool is at the end of Forest Street and is for those that prefer a quieter atmosphere. The family pool is between the playground and croquet courts and is open to all ages. This pool is heated and covered in Winter/Spring.
